AYS Weekly Update 7/6/21

Football CAMP registration closes 7/9! Please email these to football@arlingtonyouthsports.org or mail to PO Box. You can bring day of but we would like to get shirts ordered asap so if you can email them, please do. I can collect fees the night camp starts. This for athletes going into grades 3-6. Registration for camp is on the top right of the AYS Football page at www.arlingtonyouthsports.org/Football

AYS Football registration is online and open. Deadline to register to play Football for the 2021 season is midnight on June 25th.

Volunteer requirements have been established, voted on and approved by BOD. I am trying to put together a video and simple visual example to explain our requirements. The quickest explanation is that each sport has their OWN requirements and AYS FUNDRAISING has a requirement of one credit per kid, per year, enrolled in AYS sports. If you have kiddo #1 in Softball and kiddo #2 in basketball, you owe 2 credits to AYS FUNDRAISING. If you only have 1 kiddo enrolled in AYS sports (no matter how many sports) you owe AYS FUNDRAISING 1 credit. All Volunteer opportunities will be set up through Dibs so it's trackable. These new requirements will start with Football and run through next Baseball/Softball season. Parents that coach will NOT be required to have their families volunteer for the SPORT IN WHICH THEY ARE COACHING, but are still required to fulfill all other sports volunteer requirements they are NOT coaching as well as AYS FUNDRAISING requirements.
